I didn't think I'd have trouble with this but I can't seem to get the settings quite right. My Grandstream phones were very easy to configure but these 480i CT's seem to be a little more difficult. I'm using trixbox 2.0 and trying to link my 480i CT to extension 200. This is a small network with one trixbox server and one linksys WRV200 router at 192.168.1.1 that is connected to my ISP's wireless radio as a DMZ.

This worked so well. I worked two days and couldn't get my 7970 going on trixbox. The part that changed it for me was your comment that newer versions of the firmware have had registration problems. That was it! I used the version you use in this tutorial and it works. I'm a little short on cash, otherwise I'd donate...Would you like my car, apartment, girlfriend in return?

Hi.

I just got the same phone today but am having problems. I followed your instructions to setup the account on the phone but the phone doesn't register.
No problems with the same asterisk extension using Grandstream or Cisco 7960 phones as well as eyeBeam softphone. Have you had any similar problems?

You would have to do that from misc applications.

Go to the Feature Codes module. Not sure why you would need to change that unless you want to use 7777 as an extension number

Set an inbound route to point to it that has no CID and no DID, then you can dial 7777 to enter the IVR.
